This is the second one of these I've bought, updated model though so quicker to take pictures etc. It takes 8 x AA batteries and they last for ages. Then all you do is set the options from the menu (leangth) of video, quality of pictures etc), use the strap that comes with it or the supplied bracket and you are off! I've put in a 64GB Micro SD card to store everything on (even though it says to use a 32GB).
You can put it up in the garden or , I've even seen them used to take pictures of mice in the loft.
You can also use it for security as well. Instead of buying and installing a CCTV system, this will capture any wrong doings.
